HOME / Breguet

Founded in Paris in 1775, the house of Breguet boasts an uninterrupted history spanning over two centuries. Now a member of the Swatch Group, Breguet enjoys a worldwide reputation for its prestigious haute horlogerie and its ceaseless innovation.

In around 1840, Breguet moved from its original premises – on quai de l’Horloge in the Ile de la Cité – to the Right Bank: first to place de la Bourse and subsequently to rue de la Paix. Finally, in 1933, it moved to place Vendôme, where it occupied several different addresses. Breguet’s present boutique at 6, place Vendôme was opened by Nicolas G. Hayek in 2007. These spacious premises – decorated in shades of blue and gold and unique in their generous proportions – present displays of every collection of Breguet timepieces, with a special emphasis on watches à grandes complications, as well as jewellery lines. They are also home to the Breguet Museum.
