Founded in 1780 by the official jeweller to Napoleon I, Chaumet has been seamlessly handed down from one master jeweller to another for over 230 years. Chaumet’s jewellery and watch creations are the embodiment of parisian taste of each period, the reflection of an exceptional know-how and the expression of the language of love.

Parisian jeweller, Chaumet has had several addresses in the heart of Paris and first came to the place Vendôme in 1810.

The Company’s current head office, the Hôtel Baudard de Saint James at number 12, houses the heritage, creation  studio, High Jewellery workshop, 18th century salons classified as Historical Monuments, and the boutique.

Place Vendôme has always represented a unique concentration of power, creation and know-how, which is essential to jewellery.
